Giorgio Maggi, one of Switzerland’s most promising young talents, drives in the 2016 European Le Mans Series. As a member of the Race Performance squad, he competes in the LMP3 class and regularly scores solid results.

For the 2016 season, the 18-year-old has set himself a new and different target. Together with his Race Performance team, he aims to compete in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans.

It’s something every racing driver and every team aspires to. In Switzerland, however, motorsport does not have a huge public profile and there is no national association to provide support. But the young man from Lucerne refuses to be discouraged and has gone in search of solutions and backers himself.

Giorgio has publicised the project on his own website at www.ibelieveinyou.ch and hopes that motor racing enthusiasts reading about it will help him to realise his dream. Even the smallest contribution will bring the 18-year-old one step closer to achieving his goal of competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
